About this car
Diesel-powered BMW 535d estate, rear-wheel drive with an automatic transmission. The odometer reading is 502 000 km, but the engine was completely rebuilt from the ground up about 10 000 km ago with quality parts, and the receipts are available. According to the seller, the drivability is better than that of cars with 300 000 km driven, and the kilometres do not show on the car outside or inside.
New parts in the engine include, among other things, piston rings, the bearings of the crankshaft and connecting rods, the timing belt as a whole, the water pump, the thermostat and all the gaskets available for the engine. The kansi has been gone through, the valve guides bushed, the rubbers replaced, pressure tested and the surface straightened. The injectors have been serviced and tested, one replaced, and the intake manifold and valve cover have also been replaced. The transmission oils have been flushed and the transmission filter, oil pan and plug collar replaced. In addition, control arms and trim strips have been replaced in the suspension.
The car has had a colour change to the Isle of Man Green colouring of a newer M Beemer by respraying, and the change has passed the roadworthiness inspection. The surface is, according to the seller, really good. The whole car has been polished and coated with Diamondbrite ceramic. In terms of driving, the car is, according to the seller, excellent, the body in good condition and the interior nearly flawless.
