Datsun Bluebird 1965

The 1965 Datsun Bluebird P411 is a rear-wheel drive sedan with manual transmission, whose 1,3-litre petrol engine produces 65 hp. The odometer reading is 10 890 km and the car has been mainly in summer use. This is an over 60-year-old, individually built hobby car which is best suited for an enthusiast interested in classic cars and Japanese car culture.

The car has been comprehensively built in terms of mechanics, chassis, body and interior. The body was repainted in 2024, when all rust spots were repaired by a professional and the engine was overhauled. The interior was renewed almost entirely in 2025. The modifications have been carried out from sheet metal and metal without fibreglass parts: self-made metal front and rear bumpers, a slightly widened rear wheel arch and a custom parcel shelf. The original front bumper, rear bumper overriders and parcel shelf are kept with the car.

The chassis has been lowered and stifened: stif short front springs, stiffer anti-roll bar bushs, shorter dog bones, 60 mm lowering blocks at the rear, and stiffer rear leaf springs, as well as new front and rear shock absorbers. The brakes include front disc brakes, a brake servo and a brake presure regulator.
