About this car
This Plymouth Fury is a 1963 coupe with rear-wheel drive and automatic transmission. The original 361cid has been replaced with a 440cid MAX WEDGE engine, which according to Santala Racing's dyno sheet produces 477 hv and maximum torque 695 Nm / 380 hv. The car has been fully restored and it was museum-inspected on 25.5.2023.
The car came to Finland in July 1991, when an enthusiast from Somero bought it from Jacksoville, Florida. It passed on in project condition, and in Eastern Finland the next enthusiast restored it to its current condition. The restoration included extensive bodywork, and the engine, transmission and rear axle have been renewed.
The interior has been renewed except for the door cards. According to the seller, there seems to be just the right amount of power and the car is good and easy to drive.
