A restored 1968 Pontiac Firebird with a Skip White Performance 406 SBC engine and a Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual plus rear-wheel drive. A classic built with side offset, suits an enthusiast who wants the feel of an American V8 but today's technology: fuel injection, efficient cooling and a modern chassis.
The car came from America to Sweden in 2017, where some of the restoration work was done, and moved to Finland in 2019, after which it has been built up here. First registered in Finland on 9.7.2021 and two owners since then. The biggest upgrades were done in 2020/2021, and the engine has been driven approx. 4 tkm and the other parts approx. 2 tkm.
According to the seller the car is in tidy condition and has been restored throughout by professionals with high-quality parts. The look is classically original, but inside there is modern technology: an Autometer gauge set on an Autometer panel, Spal fans with air deflector, a sound-insulated floor and a replaced steering wheel. The car has been featured in V8 magazine (issue 06/22) and has been awarded at the Oulu American Car Show. Next roadworthiness inspection 30.4.2027.
