About this car
This is a 1999 model year Subaru Impreza GT Turbo 2.0 4WD, originally imported from Germany, the European 218 hp and 5-speed version. Over the years the car has been built strongly in an STI-spirited direction and making use of STI technology, and the result is a classic GC-bodied Impreza with considerably more performance than the original GT. All-wheel drive and a manual transmission make it easy to drive also in normal driving.
The mechanics were built in 4/2017 at an odometer reading of about 278 000 km, and the engine is a built engine making use of STI technology, tuned by Saku Jauhiainen at Artec-Power. The power is currently estimated to be in the region of about 400-430 hp; an exact figure cannot be stated, because no dyno sheet comes with the car. The drivetrain has been updated to match a completely different performance class than the original 5-speed GT.
The interior is clean in every respect, and the body has small signs of use and patina, which is understandable for a car of this age. All in all, according to the seller the car is a clever package that comes with a fresh inspection stamp.
